Jason, I'm with you on McDyess; I'm not 100% sold on Frye, but that can change as Frye is going to try to shoot three-pointers this year. If you can get some 3's out of your center position (and maybe some boards and steals with Frye, too), that can be a big plus for your small ball team. He got two 3's the other night against Partizan. Don't look at his stats from their exhibition this Saturday vs. the Warriors - it's the outdoor game at Indian Hills and that doesn't help for threes. But tune in on TNT anyways. TNT: We know drama.

I disgree on Frye, especially with Robin Lopez out injured. Who is going to play his minutes? Plus he is in a team that is back playing run n' gun, good for everyone involved. I don't think he'll be a monster, but is Hibbert even going to get serious minutes with Foster still around? I dunno about that. At least Frye is guaranteed court time. I'd happily take a starting center of a team which should be a top5 points scored per game over an untested rookie not necessarily starting. The 10-11th round in a deep league is not a stretch at all.

Keep up the great work dude, your site is great

I project Frye to be more of the Channing Frye we know and avoid than anything else. At this point gambling on say, a Roy Hibbert, sounds safer to me. I would rather go with youth and potential rather than tried and tested disappoinment. He will likely remain undrafted in most 12-man, and even 14-man leagues. Drafters should let him prove himself first, then consider picking him off the wires.
