2 games: CHA, MEM, NJ, NO, PHI, TOR

Waiver wire watch:

  • Marreese Speights: early return, early production, will make things difficult for other Sixers’ big men
  • C.J. Watson: continues decent play, remains relevant in deeper leagues
  • Erick Dampier: gives you the numbers you want from a starting center
  • Tony Allen: quietly making some noise, especially with Marquis Daniels out
  • Jonathan Bender: surprise signing by the Knicks, could have value in deep leagues
  • Omri Casspi: continues to hold value as long as Kevin Martin is out
  • Jonas Jerebko: will have value so long as Tayshaun Prince sits
  • Flip Murray: injury to S-Jack could be his opportunity to shine

Injury watch:

  • Stephen Jackson (back): left early Sunday with back spasms
  • Chauncey Billups (groin): could return Wednesday
  • Richard Hamilton (hamstring): day-to-day
  • Jameer Nelson (knee): will return this week with limited minutes in hand
  • Allen Iverson (knee): out this week
  • Tyrus Thomas (arm): cleared to fully practice, return is close
  • Dirk Nowitzki (elbow): took out the next player’s teeth, which were lodged in his elbow, day-to-day
  • Carl Landry (teeth): see above, should return soon
  • Ben Gordon (ankle): continues to be day-to-day
  • Ryan Gomes (ankle): day-to-day
  • Larry Hughes (groin): should return this week
  • Jose Calderon (hip): could be out until 2010

Stock watch:

↑ Lou Williams: returned very early, benefits from A.I. poor health

↑ Gilbert Arenas: monster line Friday, playing well lately

↑ Chris Duhon: putting up usable numbers on a more consistent basis, finally

↑ Caron Butler: finally playing near to his potential

↑ Marc Gasol: not as good as he was in the beginning of the season, but decent again

↓ Al Harrington: clunker after clunker

↓ Tony Parker: something’s not right

↓ Andre Miller: doing very little with his starting job

↓ Spencer Hawes: starting job or no starting job, he’s disappointing this season

↓ Boris Diaw: totally lost right now
