Waiver wire watch:
- Marreese Speights: early return, early production, will make things difficult for other Sixers’ big men
- C.J. Watson: continues decent play, remains relevant in deeper leagues
- Erick Dampier: gives you the numbers you want from a starting center
- Tony Allen: quietly making some noise, especially with Marquis Daniels out
- Jonathan Bender: surprise signing by the Knicks, could have value in deep leagues
- Omri Casspi: continues to hold value as long as Kevin Martin is out
- Jonas Jerebko: will have value so long as Tayshaun Prince sits
- Flip Murray: injury to S-Jack could be his opportunity to shine
Injury watch:
- Stephen Jackson (back): left early Sunday with back spasms
- Chauncey Billups (groin): could return Wednesday
- Richard Hamilton (hamstring): day-to-day
- Jameer Nelson (knee): will return this week with limited minutes in hand
- Allen Iverson (knee): out this week
- Tyrus Thomas (arm): cleared to fully practice, return is close
- Dirk Nowitzki (elbow): took out the next player’s teeth, which were lodged in his elbow, day-to-day
- Carl Landry (teeth): see above, should return soon
- Ben Gordon (ankle): continues to be day-to-day
- Ryan Gomes (ankle): day-to-day
- Larry Hughes (groin): should return this week
- Jose Calderon (hip): could be out until 2010

↑ Chris Duhon: putting up usable numbers on a more consistent basis, finally

↑ Marc Gasol: not as good as he was in the beginning of the season, but decent again
