I’ve been offered Pau Gasol and Ray Allen in return for my Deron Williams and Al Horford. Gasol’s hamstring worries me a bit, but what do you think of the deal? Here’s the rest of mine and his squad…

    Me: C. Paul, A. Iguodala, A. Harrington, W. Chandler, J. Green, J. Thompson, M. Dunleavy, R. Fernandez, J. Redick, H. Warrick, J. Jerebko, A. Iverson, N. Robinson

    Him: C. Bosh, G. Wallace, L. Williams, D. Rose, M. Williams, JR Smith, A. Miller, J. Harden, J. Dudley, T. Lawson, K. Hinrich, M. Barnes, B. Miller

Should I try to get something else out of the deal? I was thinking maybe Rose, but I didn’t know what to give up…

@generic: I would lean away from that deal, though it’s not terrible. Gasol and Allen could see limited minutes late in the season, which is worrisome.

If you’re eyeing Rose, don’t give up too much for him. His lack of threes limits his value somewhat. I’d look to deal Iverson or Nate. If you can buy low on J.R. Smith, that’d be great. Also, Hinrich and Lou Williams are appealing.

Thanks for the advice… it’s a bit of the same sentiment I had for the deal. Al Horford’s one of my favorites too, so I’d kind of like someone to overspend a bit if I’m going to deal him.

I’ll counter a bit high, and if he refuses, I’ll probably just let it go.
