Waiver-wire watch:
- DeJuan Blair: trending upward, double-dipped in two straight games
- Omri Casspi: flavor of the week in Sacramento, hot now but will cool off soon
- Matt Bonner: worth owning in deep leagues if you desperately need threes
- Luke Ridnour: he’s playing well and though he’ll be in a timeshare soon, he’s still worth a look
- Nick Young: if you like streaks, give Young a look
- Nazr Mohammed: decent source of blocks and boards in deep leagues
- C.J. Miles: another streaky fantasy player worth consideration if you need points and threes
- Ronnie Brewer: he’s racked up 12 steals in the past three games
- Lou Williams: streaky scorer who should always be on radars
- Josh McRoberts: continues to fill every statistical category
- Ben Wallace: busted out a monster game Saturday, but only worth owning in deep leagues
- Jodie Meeks: he should be owned in most leagues, great for threes
- Brandon Rush: has hit at least one three in each of his past seven games
- Spencer Hawes: has looked solid in December, worth a look if you need a center
- Jerryd Bayless: Saturday’s line is misleading, but he’s worth a look while Jose Calderon is out
- Jordan Farmar: add him if you need a point guard so long as Devin Harris is out
- Mike Miller: should return within a month, so start thinking about stashing him
- Terrence Williams: an injury to Damion Jones has opened up the window of opportunity a bit wider
Injury watch:
- Jose Calderon (foot): expected to return Tuesday
- Josh Powell (knee): sprained it Saturday, day-to-day
- Shaquille O’Neal (calf): day-to-day
- Tyrus Thomas (calf): day-to-day
- Andrew Bynum (knee): expected to make his delayed season debut Tuesday
- Raja Bell (adductor): day-to-day
- Chris Kaman (ankle): out at least three weeks
- Martell Webster (back): should return Tuesday
- Devin Harris (shoulder): questionable today
- Danny Granger (leg): tweaked his leg and hurt his ankle Saturday, check his status
- Damion Jones (foot): broke his foot, timetable for return not set
Stock watch:
↑ Thaddeus Young: like Hansel, he’s hot right now, but lack of threes, steals and blocks limits his upside
↑ Wesley Matthews: shooting touch remains intact
↑ Wilson Chandler: after some mild times in November, Chandler is shooting well, hitting threes
↑ Andrew Bogut: playing like a monster lately, including his 24/22/3/1/5 game on Friday
