Fantasy trade analysis: Terrence Williams to Houston

Terrence Williams will be picked up in a lot of leagues this morning, but how much optimism should he deserve? Head over to to read my take on yesterday’s three-team deal that had the New Jersey Nets send Williams to the Houston Rockets and Joe Smith to the Los Angeles Lakers. In return, the Nets will receive Sasha Vujacic from the Lakers along with a 2011 first-round pick, and a Lottery-protected 2012 first-round pick from the Rockets. The Rockets also sent Jermaine Taylor to the Sacramento Kings for a future second-round pick in order to make room for Williams.

If you want a quick and dirty summary, here you go:

↑ Terrence Williams

↔ Sasha Vujacic

↔ Joe Smith

↔ Jermaine Taylor

↑ Travis Outlaw

↑ Stephen Graham

↓ Courtney Lee

↓ Chase Budinger

↔ Kevin Martin

↔ Shane Battier

↔ Shannon Brown

↔ Steve Blake
