Waiver-wire watch:
- Francisco Garcia: in his first game since Jan. 15, he finished with 18 points, four three-pointers, three rebounds and two steals
- Carlos Delfino: up and down lately, but continues to put up strong overall numbers and racked up nine steals in two games last week
- Wes Johnson: in his four games before the flu derailed him, Johnson was tearing up box scores
- Matt Bonner: usually a good source of threes, has hit nine in his last two games
- Jodie Meeks: averaging 14 points, 2.7 threes, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 steals in his last three
- Ty Lawson: appeal is limited by Raymond Felton’s presence on the Nuggets roster, but Lawson still producing solid lines
- Darrell Arthur: has hit double digits in the points column in his last four games, racked up six blocks in that stretch too
- Ed Davis: had two strong games against the Nets in London; he should definitely be worth a look in deeper leagues
- Ryan Anderson: has shown signs of life again lately, worth a look if you need threes and some rebounds
- Sasha Vujacic: should get more run with Anthony Morrow sidelined with a concussion
- Jared Dudley: inconsistent but puts up solid averages
- Jarrett Jack: putting up solid lines lately, though he doesn’t do much besides score
- Marvin Williams: he doesn’t have a high ceiling but you know what you’re getting with him
- DeAndre Jordan: first two games of the month have been good, though inconsistency is always in the cards for him
- Courtney Lee: averaging 13.7 points, 1.7 threes, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in his three games in March
- Jordan Farmar: deserves a look in deeper leagues, especially with Deron Williams hurting
- Mike Miller: big expectations won’t be fulfilled, but he’s still a decent all-around contributor on most days
- Tony Allen: he’s a good pickup in many leagues, especially if you need steals
- Reggie Williams: decent low-end pickup who will have nice games every now and then
Injury watch:
- Josh Smith (knee): participated in shootaround with a brace on his knee, should be good to go today
- Shaquille O’Neal (Achilles): not close to returning
- Von Wafer (calf): day-to-day
- Arron Afflalo (hamstring): day-to-day
- Andrew Bogut (oblique): out today; day-to-day
- Ersan Ilyasova (concussion): ditto
- David West (ankle): expects to play today
- Ronny Turiaf (knee): should play today
- Chauncey Billups (calf): game-time decision today
- Reggie Evans (foot): should return Wednesday
- Ronnie Price (toe): will travel with the Jazz for their upcoming four-game road trip
- Andrei Kirilenko (back): back spasms will make him a game-time decision for Monday
- Rashard Lewis (knee): out today; surgery still an option

↑ Kyle Lowry: has settled into his secure starting gig and is thriving, even nailing lots of threes lately
↑ Marcus Thornton: taking full advantage of Tyreke Evans’ absence
↑ Stephen Curry: has bounced back from his slump in late February, though his last game was weak
↑ Zach Randolph: averaged 21.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and two steals in his last three games
↓ Dwyane Wade: killer turnovers are weighing down his somewhat weaker fantasy value lately
↓ Amar’e Stoudemire: back to his non-rebounding/-blocking ways
↓ Steve Nash: struggling with his shooting from the field lately
↓ Marc Gasol: it’s official: his season is a big disappointment
