Game watch:
2 games: NY

Waiver-wire watch:

  • Jodie Meeks: he should be owned in your league; averaging 14.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals, three three-pointers made, 50 percent from the field and 93 percent from the charity stripe in March
  • Jarrett Jack: his past two games have been solid, though he’s tough to rely on
  • Chris Andersen: he’ll always chip in some blocks when he’s playing, but his 17/11/1/2/5 line on Friday was a doozy
  • Kirk Hinrich: three of his last four games were good; he should be a fine player to round out your bench
  • Patrick Patterson: his three-game streak of double-doubles is broken, but Patterson is still a good source of rebounds and blocks
  • Matt Bonner: he’s been a decent source of threes, steals and blocks lately, but is only worth a sniff in deeper leagues
  • Luc Richard Mbah a Moute: averaging 12.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.7 blocks since March 16
  • Courtney Lee: with Chase Budinger set to return today, Lee’s value takes another hit just one game after his big 25-point outing; just keep an eye on him
  • Ryan Anderson: he’s been inconsistent but has hit at least one three in every game since Feb. 27
  • Brandon Bass: his last four games have been solid, making him worth a look if you need some points, rebounds, steals and blocks
  • Ekpe Udoh: scoop him up if you need blocks
  • Peja Stojakovic: if you need threes, Peja’s a decent short-term option
  • Francisco Garcia: with Tyreke Evans back, Garcia’s value isn’t so appealing, but he’s still worth a stash in some leagues
  • Darrell Arthur: he’s been on a nice roll lately and should be a fine pickup for owners in deeper leagues
  • Jared Dudley: he got heavy minutes in his last two games and responded well; he’s always a good play when Vince Carter is out or limited
  • Brandon Rush: he’s doing just enough to warrant monitoring in deeper leagues
  • Randy Foye: even with Eric Gordon back, Foye’s worth a look
  • Jordan Crawford: if you’re fine with a weak FG% and lots of turnovers, Crawford warrants serious consideration
  • Marco Belinelli: he’s usually a decent source of points and threes, but is liable to turn in a clunker at least once a week
  • Tiago Splitter: he’s started his last two games and is worth monitoring
  • Daniel Gibson: if you need points, threes and steals, Gibson is worth a look
  • James Johnson: he’s a decent source of rebounds, steals and blocks

Injury watch:

  • Chase Budinger (ankle): set to return today
  • Joe Johnson (thumb): out today; monitor his status
  • Josh Smith (knee): playing through a sore knee
  • Shaquille O’Neal (Achilles): target return date pushed back to April 4
  • Jermaine O’Neal (knee): ready to practice with the team again
  • Tyrus Thomas (ribs): day-to-day
  • Tracy McGrady (back): he expects to play Wednesday
  • Udonis Haslem (foot): will travel with the team for their upcoming four-game road trip
  • Mario Chalmers (ankle): ditto, but might not be ready to practice until April 4
  • Michael Redd (knee): was activated Saturday but didn’t play
  • Ronny Turiaf (ankle): day-to-day
  • Jameer Nelson (knee): sprained knee makes him day-to-day
  • Mickael Pietrus (knee): didn’t practice Saturday
  • Vince Carter (illness): practiced Saturday; check his status for today
  • Marcin Gortat (nose): expected to play today
  • Andrea Bargnani (ankle): aggravated a bone spur in his ankle; day-to-day
  • Reggie Evans (foot): day-to-day
  • Andrei Kirilenko (knee): day-to-day
  • Devin Harris (hamstring): day-to-day
  • Chris Wilcox (knee): day-to-day
  • Nikola Pekovic (hip): out today; day-to-day
  • Quinton Ross (back): likely done for the season
  • Mike Dunleavy (thumb): could return this week

Stock watch:
↑ Carlos Delfino: has hit 26 threes in his last five games

↑ J.J. Hickson: averaging 21.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and one block in his last four games

↑ Shawn Marion: averaging 17.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks in his last seven games, despite being yanked in and out of the starting lineup

↑ Andrew Bynum: his clearly defined niche as a defender and rebounder has translated very  nicely into big fantasy value

↑ Anthony Randolph: averaged 27.5 points, 13 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in his last two games, but with Kevin Love set to return soon, Ant-Rand’s value will tank again soon

↓ Stephen Curry: he just can’t seem to avoid those dips in the road this season

↓ Amar’e Stoudemire: three of his last four games were a bit pedestrian

↓ Brook Lopez: just when it looked like he was rounding the corner, Lopez is fading away again, racking up 16 points, two rebounds and three assists in his last two games

↓ Darren Collison: averaging just 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 29 percent shooting from the field in his last three games

↓ Danilo Gallinari: after two big games after returning from his fractured toe, he’s hasn’t done that much in his last three games
