Beast of the Night: Patty Mills finishes the wild 2011-12 NBA regular season with this honor, thanks to his 34 points, five boards, 12 dimes, one steal, one block and four three-pointers. He shot 56 percent (14-25) from the floor and 100 percent (2-2) from the free-throw line, and turned the ball over four times. It’d be a huge surprise to see him here ever again, but good for him and however many of his owners last night.

Lines for Discussion:
DeMarcus Cousins: 9-19 FG (47%), 5-7 FT (71%), 23 Pts, 19 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 TO; Cousins aggressively put his stamp on the 2011-12 NBA season, finishing with top 60 value

Ed Davis: 10-15 FG (67%), 4-5 FT (80%), 24 Pts, 12 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 3 TO; in nine games as a starter this season, Davis averaged 8.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.6 blocks in 33.5 minutes

Enes Kanter: 4-8 FG (50%), 4-7 FT (57%), 12 Pts, 10 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 Blk, 1 TO; Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors are all on Utah’s payroll next season, which means Kanter’s fantasy appeal will be limited to deep leagues

Tristan Thompson: 4-11 FG (36%), 5-8 FT (63%), 13 Pts, 12 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 2 TO; with Antawn Jamison gone, Thompson will have some attractive upside next season

Beast of the Night: Russell Westbrook finished the 2011-12 NBA season with a bang, producing a pretty line of 30 points, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals, four blocks and a three-pointer. He shot 50 percent (10-20) from the field and 90 percent (9-10) from the free-throw line, and had two turnovers. Westbrook is finishing the season with top 20 value, which falls short of expectations. The most noticeable stat is his 5.5 assists per game this season, well below the 8.2 assists he dished out per game last season.

Lines for Discussion:
J.J. Redick: 9-19 FG (47%), 7-7 FT (100%), 6 threes, 31 Pts, 3 Reb, 3 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 TO; Redick has averaged 14.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.4 threes in 22 games as a starter this season, with one game to go tonight

John Wall: 7-16 FG (44%), 7-8 FT (88%), 21 Pts, 7 Reb, 13 Ast, 7 Stl, 6 TO; he’s finishing the season with top 90 value, but that won’t stop owners from drafting him in the third or fourth round of next season’s drafts — he’d be a much more sensible pick in rounds five or six in nine-category leagues

Caron Butler: 3-8 FG (38%), 3 threes, 9 Pts, 3 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 4 TO; Butler should be seen as a three-point specialist going forward

Waiver-Wire Watch (four stars = must add; one star = keep an eye on him):
He shot 50 percent (10-20) from the floor and 91 percent (10-11) from the charity stripe, and had two turnovers.
Lines for Discussion:
Isaiah Thomas: 3-10 FG (30%), 4-4 FT (100%), 1 three, 11 Pts, 5 Reb, 9 Ast, 2 Stl, 2 TO; since entering the Kings’ starting lineup on Feb. 17, Thomas has been a top 50 fantasy basketball asset

He shot 40 percent (6-15) from the floor and 87 percent (13-15) from the free-throw line, and had one turnover. Though George has been a bit unsteady this month, for the season he’s been a top 40 fantasy basketball asset.
Lines for Discussion:

Beast of the Night: Danny Granger notched 29 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and four three-pointers last night.
Beast of the Night: James Harden ruined the Suns last night, dropping a line of 40 points, seven rebounds, three assists, four steals and five treys. He shot 71 percent (12-17) from the floor and 100 percent (11-11) from the free-throw line, and turned the ball over three times. For the season, Harden has been a top 30 asset, which is in line with rosier expectations heading into the season. Coming off the bench or not, Harden is a fantasy basketball stud.

Lines for Discussion:
Nene: 7-12 FG (58%), 0-1 FT (0%), 14 Pts, 4 Reb, 1 Ast, 2 Blk; as a Wizard, Nene is averaging 14.7 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.9 steals and a block per game, while shooting 55 percent from the field — the problem is that Nene has only played in seven games since joining the Wizards

Glen Davis: 12-16 FG (75%), 3-6 FT (50%), 27 Pts, 7 Reb, 3 Stl, 1 Blk, 3 TO; in April, Davis is averaging 18.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.4 steals per game — top 50 numbers

Paul Pierce: 9-14 FG (64%), 11-12 FT (92%), 29 Pts, 5 Reb, 14 Ast, 2 Stl, 3 TO; Pierce has been an adept distributor whenever Rajon Rondo has missed time this season

Marcus Camby: 5-11 FG (46%), 1-2 FT (50%), 11 Pts, 17 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 TO; you’ve got to hand it to Camby for battling through a bad back and putting up this killer line (he’s an unrestricted free agent after this season is over)

Pau Gasol: 7-16 FG (44%), 8-8 FT (100%), 22 Pts, 11 Reb, 11 Ast, 3 Blk; in his last seven Mamba-less games, Gasol is averaging 21.1 points, 10.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.4 steals, 1.4 blocks and 2.3 turnovers, while shooting 47 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the charity stripe

Beast of the Night: Al Jefferson took full advantage of a triple-overtime marathon against the Mavericks, posting 28 points, 26 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in more than 54 minutes of burn. He shot 56 percent (14-25) from the floor and had one turnover. For the season, Jefferson has exceeded expectations by producing top six averages. Barring major changes in the Jazz’s roster or Jefferson’s health, he should be viewed as a first-round player in next year’s drafts.

Lines for Discussion:
Ryan Anderson: 11-16 FG (69%), 2-2 FT (100%), 2 threes, 26 Pts, 16 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Blk, 2 TO; with Dwight Howard likely done for the rest of the regular season, Anderson will be a beast for his owners whose teams are still contending for championships

Arron Afflalo: 10-16 FG (63%), 5-6 FT (83%), 1 three, 26 Pts, 3 Reb, 5 Ast; owners should note that he’s been a top 35 player since Feb. 19

Samuel Dalembert: 1-5 FG (20%), 3-5 FT (60%), 5 Pts, 9 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 7 Blk; with Marcus Camby hurt, Dalembert could help owners looking to make one last push

Dirk Nowitzki: 13-26 FG (50%), 12-12 FT (100%), 2 threes, 40 Pts, 9 Reb, 6 Ast, 3 TO; though he started the 2011-12 NBA season off poorly, Nowitzki has pulled his averages up to top 10 status (yawn)

J.J. Hickson: 9-15 FG (60%), 4-4 FT (100%), 22 Pts, 8 Reb, 1 Ast, 3 TO; Hickson is peaking too late for most fantasy basketball owners, but his late run is still nice to see

Waiver-Wire Watch (four stars = must add; one star = keep an eye on him):

Weekend Wonder: Wesley Matthews averaged 23.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.5 blocks and 4.5 three-pointers in two games over the weekend. He hit 50 percent of his shots from the field and 100 percent of his shots from the charity stripe, and averaged 2.5 turnovers in each of those games. Matthews has struggled with major bouts of inconsistency this season, but he’s still maintained top 60 value, mostly thanks to his strong three-point making (1.9 per game) and thieving (1.4 per game).

Lines for Discussion:
Marcus Camby (4/13): 7-16 FG (44%), 14 Pts, 18 Reb, 4 Ast, 2 Stl, 3 Blk; since joining the Rockets, Camby has averaged 6.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.7 blocks per game — but he’s injured again

Andre Iguodala (4/13): 3-7 FG (43%), 5-6 FT (83%), 11 Pts, 4 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 TO; Iggy is averaging a mediocre 10.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.7 blocks and 0.6 threes per game so far this month

Serge Ibaka (4/14): 3-5 FG (60%), 2-2 FT (100%), 8 Pts, 12 Reb, 2 Ast, 5 Blk, 1 TO; through nine games in April, Ibaka is averaging 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and an insane 5.3 blocks per game; he’s been a top 12 beast this season

Waiver-Wire Watch (four stars = must add; one star = keep an eye on him):
J.R. Smith: he’ll drag down your field-goal percentage, but he’s a solid source of everything else, especially threes (****)

MarShon Brooks: he’s been sort of hot lately and is worth a look if you need points (**)

Jannero Pargo: he’s hot and cold this month, which could be worth consideration in deeper leagues (*)

J.J. Barea: with averages of 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.2 threes, Barea’s worth scooping up if he’s still available in your league (****)

Jordan Williams: he’s getting decent run and should be considered in deeper leagues (**)

Nate Robinson: he’ll help your team with his points, threes and assists (****)

Brandon Rush: he’s erratic, but Rush is typically a good source of threes (**)

Greg Stiemsma: he’ll help your team’s blocks (***)

Anthony Randolph: if Love misses the rest of the season, Randolph could finish the season on a strong note (***)

Chase Budinger: he’s averaging 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.3 threes so far this month (***)

Injuries:
Dwight Howard (back): he’ll be re-evaluated in 10 days

Paul Pierce (toe): day-to-day

Kevin Garnett (rest): he should be fine for Tuesday’s game

Ray Allen (ankle): day-to-day

Luol Deng (ribs): monitor his status for tonight

Marcus Camby (back): day-to-day

Marc Gasol (knee): he hyperextended his left knee Sunday; monitor his status

James Jones (hand): monitor his status

Carl Landry (calf): day-to-day

Glen Davis (knee): not expected to play tonight

Nicolas Batum (quad): ditto

Roger Mason (hand): he’ll have season-ending finger surgery today

Andris Biedrins (concussion): day-to-day

Ekpe Udoh (ankle): day-to-day

Steve Nash (hip): day-to-day

DeMarre Carroll (concussion): day-to-day

Zaza Pachulia (foot): day-to-day

Rodridge Beaubois (calf): day-to-day

Richard Jefferson (knee): out indefinitely

David Lee (groin, hip): done for the season

For Tonight:
J.J. Redick and Ryan Anderson should get plenty of shots for the shorthanded Magic, who host the Sixers.
