Tyreke Evans

Beast of the Night: Tyreke Evans had another big game, putting up 27 points, five rebounds, 12 assists and two steals against the Nuggets last night.  He shot 61 percent (11-18) from the field, 100 percent (5-5) from the free-throw line and had just one turnover. In other news, Evans is opting to stay home instead of play in the Rookie-Sophomore game during All-Star weekend to rest his feet. Owner beware.

Lines for Discussion:
Shawn Marion: 12-17 FG (71%), 1-2 FT (50%), 25 Pts, 3 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 TO

Tyson Chandler: 3-5 FG (60%), 8-10 FT (80%), 14 Pts, 18 Reb, 2 Blk, 1 TO (continue reading…)

Tim Duncan

Beast of the Night: Tim Duncan posted 28 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks last night against the Nuggets. He shot 67 percent (12-18) from the field and 67 percent (4-6) from the charity stripe. This was Duncan’s third straight game with double-digit rebounds, and he’s averaging 4.3 blocks during that stretch. Though his fantasy value remains limited by his tightly controlled minutes, Duncan remains a strong asset when healthy and given 30+ minutes.

Lines for Discussion:
JaVale McGee: 1-5 FG (20%), 2 Pts, 5 Reb, 2 Blk, 2 TO

Devin Harris: 7-25 FG (28%), 14-17 FT (82%), 1 three, 29 Pts, 3 Reb, 9 Ast, 2 TO (continue reading…)

Pau Gasol

Beast of the Night: Pau Gasol showed that his hamstring is just fine, as he finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, 5 blocks and 2 turnovers last night against the Wizards. He shot 39 percent (7-18) from the field and 88 percent (7-8) from the free-throw line. Gasol will take a slight hit when Andrew Bynum returns, but he’ll still be a top-tier fantasy stud.

Lines for Discussion:
Chauncey Billups: 5-13 FG (39%), 11-12 FT (92%), 4 threes, 25 Pts, 3 Reb, 5 Ast, 4 Stl, 1 Blk, 3 TO

Stephen Jackson: 8-22 FG (36%), 2-2 FT (100%), 5 threes, 23 Pts, 9 Reb, 7 Ast, 2 Stl, 1 Blk, 3 TO (continue reading…)

by on Nov.24, 2010, under Other

Arron Afflalo

Afflalo has been one of the most underappreciated fantasy assets so far this season. (NBA.com)
