Dwyane Wade

No one's shedding any tears for Wade or his fantasy owners this season. (NBA.com)

Beast of the Night: Dwyane Wade finished with 38 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in a losing cause. He shot 57 percent (12-21) from the field, 92 percent (12-13) from the free-throw line and had three turnovers. Wade has been a top-25 player this season, which is a far cry (pun intended) from his top-eight pick position in many drafts last fall.

Lines for Discussion:
Brandon Jennings: 10-20 FG (50%), 3 threes, 23 Pts, 5 Reb, 4 Ast, 3 Stl, 1 TO

Andrew Bogut: 7-13 FG (54%), 0-2 FG (0%), 14 Pts, 9 Reb, 7 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 TO (continue reading…)

Kevin Durant

Don't call it a comeback. After a shaky start to the season, KD has looked absolutely nasty lately. (NBA.com)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Beast of the Night: Kevin Durant posted 43 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal, a block and five three-pointers last night.  He shot 74 percent (14-19) from the field, 91 percent (10-11) from the free-throw line and had two turnovers. Durant is really picking up steam lately and has been the top fantasy player during the last month or so. He’s making all his opponents look like fake tough guys.

Lines for Discussion:
Amir Johnson: 8-11 FG (73%), 4-4 FT (100%), 20 Pts, 14 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 Blk, 1 TO

Joe Johnson: 15-27 FG (71%), 2-3 FT (67%), 5 threes, 37 pts, 2 Reb, 8 Ast, 2 TO (continue reading…)

Boris Diaw

No, really -- Diaw was great yesterday. (AP Photo/Matt Slocum)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Beast of the Night: Boris Diaw paid tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. by putting up 25 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal, two blocks and four threes in an overtime loss.  In addition to his triple-double, he shot 57 percent (8-14) from the field, 83 percent (5-6) from the charity stripe and had just one turnover. Diaw has been a roller coaster all season long but remains capable of filling the stat sheet each night.

Lines for Discussion:
Derrick Rose: 7-20 FG (35%), 7-9 FT (78%), 1 three, 22 Pts, 10 Reb, 12 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 1 TO

Andray Blatche: 8-15 FG (53%), 5-7 FT (71%), 21 Pts, 11 Reb, 3 Ast, 3 Stl, 4 Blk, 3 TO (continue reading…)

Arron Afflalo

Beast of the Night: Arron Afflalo had himself a night to the tune of 31 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two threes.  He shot 79 percent (11-14) from the field, 100 percent (7-7) from the free-throw line and had no turnovers. This is something of a preview of what will happen to Afflalo’s fantasy value if Carmelo Anthony is dealt away.

Lines for Discussion:
Beno Udrih: 10-13 FG (77%), 5-5 FT (100%), 1 three, 26 Pts, 4 Reb, 6 Ast, 2 Stl, 1 Blk, 3 TO

Nick Young: 14-22 FG (64%), 8-9 FT (89%), 7 threes, 43 Pts, 4 Reb, 3 Ast, 3 TO (continue reading…)
