Beast of the Night: John Wall got his first NBA triple-double, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists, 6 steals, 1 block and 1 turnover. He shot 50 percent (8-16) from the field, 50 percent (1-2) from the line and hit two threes along the way. The major threat to Wall’s fantasy value seems to be — wait for it — the rookie wall.

Lines for Discussion:
Deron Williams: 8-19 FG (42%), 11-12 FT (92%), 3 threes, 30 Pts, 5 Reb, 14 Ast, 4 TO

Kevin Martin: 8-18 FG (44%), 13-15 FT (87%), 2 threes, 31 Pts, 7 Reb, 6 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 TO (continue reading…)

Beast of the Night: John Wall did “The Dougie” then danced his way to 29 points, 2 rebounds, 13 assists, 9 steals and 8 turnovers. He shot 56 percent (9-16) from the field and 79 percent (11-14) from the line. It’s a flawed line and the rookie nearly notched a somewhat unsavory quadruple-double, but this was an eye-popping performance, especially for owners in leagues that don’t count turnovers.

Lines for Discussion:
Josh Smith: 3-11 FG (27%), 6 Pts, 11 Reb, 4 Ast, 2 Stl, 5 Blk

J.J. Hickson: 11-17 FG (65%), 9-11 FT (82%), 31 Pts, 5 Reb, 1 Stl, 5 TO (continue reading…)

Daily Fantasy Diagnosis: 11.1.10 (Weekend Recap)

O.J. Mayo

After a slow start, Mayo roared back with a wicked weekend. (Joe Murphy/NBAE/Getty Images)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Weekend Wonder: O.J. Mayo averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 threes, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 2.5 turnovers in his two games over the weekend. He shot 44.7 percent from the field and 100 percent from the line. I’m trying to think of a clever way to incorporate the word “mustard” or “ketchup” here, but I can’t.

Lines for Discussion:
Rajon Rondo (10/29): 4-12 FG (33%), 2-6 FT (33%), 10 Pts, 10 Reb, 24 Ast, 1 Stl, 7 TO

Dwight Howard (10/29): 8-15 FG (53%), 3-7 FT (43%), 19 Pts, 7 Reb, 2 Stl, 1 Blk, 1 TO (continue reading…)

Paul Millsap

That's Millsap for you. (NBA.com)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Beast of the Night: Paul Millsap finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks and 1 turnover against the Suns. He shot 69 percent (9-13) from the field and 33 percent (1-3) from the line. It’s early in the season, but these types of lines will be commonplace for Millsap this season.

Lines for Discussion:
Dwight Howard: 7-9 FG (78%), 9-19 FT (47%), 23 Pts, 10 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 Blk, 3 TO

Vince Carter: 8-12 FG (67%), 0-1 FT (0%), 2 threes, 18 Pts, 5 Reb, 2 Ast (continue reading…)
