Daily Fantasy Diagnosis: 11.8.10 (Weekend Recap)

by on Nov.08, 2010, under Quick hits

Pau Gasol

Yeah, he's good. (Harry How/Getty Images)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Weekend Wonder: Pau Gasol averaged 25 points, 10.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 1 block and 0.5 turnovers in two games over the weekend and had his fourth career triple-double on Sunday. Gasol is putting up ungodly digits with Andrew Bynum still making his way back, but should remain a top dog once the man with weak knees hobbles his way back to the court.

Lines for Discussion:
Roy Hibbert (11/5): 4-11 FG (36%), 6-7 FT (86%), 14 Pts, 12 Reb, 4 Ast, 6 Blk, 6 TO

Gilbert Arenas (11/5): 6-13 FG (46%), 2-3 FT (67%), 4 threes, 18 Pts, 1 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl (continue reading…)

John Wall

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Beast of the Night: John Wall did “The Dougie” then danced his way to 29 points, 2 rebounds, 13 assists, 9 steals and 8 turnovers. He shot 56 percent (9-16) from the field and 79 percent (11-14) from the line. It’s a flawed line and the rookie nearly notched a somewhat unsavory quadruple-double, but this was an eye-popping performance, especially for owners in leagues that don’t count turnovers.

Lines for Discussion:
Josh Smith: 3-11 FG (27%), 6 Pts, 11 Reb, 4 Ast, 2 Stl, 5 Blk

J.J. Hickson: 11-17 FG (65%), 9-11 FT (82%), 31 Pts, 5 Reb, 1 Stl, 5 TO (continue reading…)
