Weekend Wonder: Kevin Martin averaged 31.5 points, four three-pointers, 5.5 rebounds, three assists, three steals and 0.5 blocks in two games over the weekend. That’s three straight games with 30+ points for Martin, who will be shedding no tears over Aaron Brooks’ departure. K-Mart has only missed two games and is averaging top-20 numbers so far this season.
Lines for Discussion:
J.J. Hickson (2/25): 9-17 FG (53%), 6-10 FT (60%), 24 Pts, 15 Reb, 1 Ast, 5 Blk, 3 TO
Deron Williams (2/26): 3-12 FG (25%), 9-12 FT (75%), 15 Pts, 5 Reb, 17 Ast, 2 Stl, 4 TO (continue reading…)

'Melo rose above the drama last night. Yep, I actually used "'Melo" and "drama" in the same sentence without combining them. You're welcome. (NBA.com)

Beast of the Night: Carmelo Anthony torched the Rockets with 50 points, 11 rebounds, a steal, three blocks and two three-pointers. He shot 67 percent (16-24) from the field, 89 percent (16-18) from the free-throw line and had four turnovers in the loss. Anthony continues to be swarmed by drama but remains a solid fantasy player, despite the horrid assists-to-turnovers ratio so far this month (0.8 assists, 3.5 turnovers per game).
Lines for Discussion:
Ray Allen: 9-17 FG (53%), 5-5 FT (100%), 2 threes, 25 Pts, 2 Reb, 3 Ast, 2 Stl, 3 TO
Gerald Wallace: 6-16 FG (38%), 6-8 FT (75%), 1 three, 19 Pts, 16 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 2 TO (continue reading…)

Beast of the Night: Kevin Martin put up 30 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers in a loss to the Lakers. He shot 53 percent (8-15) from the field, 91 percent (10-11) from the free-throw line and had three turnovers. Martin has been inconsistent lately but remains great for points, threes and free-throw percentage. Despite playing fewer minutes this season, he’s averaging more points, threes made and rebounds than he did last season.
Lines for Discussion:
Nick Young: 9-18 FG (50%), 9-12 FT (75%), 3 threes, 30 Pts, 4 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 TO
LaMarcus Aldridge: 16-23 FG (70%), 8-9 FT (89%), 40 Pts, 11 Reb, 2 Ast, 3 Stl, 1 Blk, 2 TO (continue reading…)

Beast of the Night: Rajon Rondo was a monster last night, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 22 assists, six steals and a block in a big win over the Spurs. He shot 60 percent (6-10) from the floor, avoided shooting any free throws, and had five turnovers. There’s not much that needs to be said here.
Lines for Discussion:
Gilbert Arenas: 2-9 FG (22%), 6 Pts, 2 threes, 1 Reb, 1 TO
John Wall: 6-14 FG (43%), 5-8 FT (63%), 1 three, 18 Pts, 1 Reb, 14 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 TO (continue reading…)
