In the slightly tweaked words of Mary J. Blige, no more ‘Melodrama. It should come as a surprise to no one but the blindest Nets fan that Carmelo Anthony has finally landed in Manhattan to play for the New York Knicks. While the deal is awaiting league approval, and though some of these names will probably move again before Thursday’s trade deadline, here’s a quick look at the fantasy impact of this mega deal. Beast of the Night: Martell Webster poured in 28 points on 7 threes and adding 1 rebound, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block and 1 turnover against the Clippers. He shot 69 percent (9-13) from the floor and 100 percent (3-3) from the free throw line. Webster’s value is safe for now thanks to the Blazers’ trade on Tuesday and he should be owned in most leagues.
