Beast of the Night: Chris Paul finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 14 assists and 2 steals last night in an easy victory over the Nets. He shot 75 percent (6-8) from the floor and had just one turnover. CP3 is putting up stats that make him the top dog in fantasy basketball so far this year and has somehow managed to do so in quiet fashion.

Beast of the Night: Paul Millsap torched the Heat last night, putting up 46 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. As if that weren’t enough, he hit all three of his three-point attempts (he went 1-9 from deep during all of 2009-10), shot 68 percent (19-28) from the field, 71 percent (5-7) from the line and had just one turnover in 43:27 of work in the overtime victory. Millsap is every fantasy owner’s man crush at the moment, so boast all you want if you own him.

Weekend Wonder: Pau Gasol averaged 25 points, 10.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 1 block and 0.5 turnovers in two games over the weekend and had his fourth career triple-double on Sunday. Gasol is putting up ungodly digits with Andrew Bynum still making his way back, but should remain a top dog once the man with weak knees hobbles his way back to the court.
