Mo Williams

The 2010-11 NBA trading binge ain’t over.

With a few more hours to go before this season’s NBA trade deadline expires at 3 p.m. EST today, we have some more deals to discuss. Baron Davis, Mo Williams and Kirk Hinrich were all part of deals that happened after the trades involving Carmelo Anthony and Deron Williams. Below is a quick look at the fantasy basketball implications of these recent deals. If you want more than colors and arrows, head on over to DimeMag.com to read my fuller perspectives. Dwight Howard

Beast of the Night: Dwight Howard posted 31 points, 17 rebounds, two steals and two blocks last night against the Kings.  He shot 59 percent (10-17) from the field, 92 percent (11-12) from the free-throw line and had three turnovers. Howard’s averaging a career-high 23 points and 1.2 steals per game this season. He remains a stud, so long as you can handle his poor free-throw shooting.

Lines for Discussion:
John Wall: 8-19 FG (42%), 4-5 FT (80%), 1 three, 21 Pts, 5 Reb, 12 Ast, 2 Stl, 4 TO

Ramon Sessions: 8-14 FG (57%), 3-5 FT (60%), 1 three, 20 Pts, 3 Reb, 12 Ast, 1 Stl, 4 TO (continue reading…)

Kyle Lowry

This pretty much sums up the way Lowry's owners have felt all season -- restrained excitement. They should feel free to let loose after last night. (AP Photo/Steve C. Wilson)

Beast of the Night: Kyle Lowry lit up the Sixers with 36 points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and six three-pointers in a losing effort. He shot 83 percent (15-18) from the field, missed his only free-throw attempt and had just one turnover. Lowry continues to hold down his starting gig, staving off Aaron Brooks and his weak attempts at getting his starting gig back. There’s little reason to think Lowry will lose the starting gig anytime soon, and he’s turning out to be one of the bigger waiver-wire steals of the season.

Lines for Discussion:
Ryan Anderson: 4-8 FG (50%), 4-4 FT (100%), 2 threes, 14 Pts, 8 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Blk, 2 TO

Andrea Bargnani: 15-26 FG (58%), 3-4 FT (75%), 38 Pts, 4 Reb, 3 TO (continue reading…)

Dorell Wright

Wright continues to make his owners look very, very smart. (AP Photo)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Beast of the Night: Dorell Wright put up 23 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, four steals and hit four threes.  He shot 40 percent (8-20) from the field, 75 percent (3-4) from the free-throw line and had no turnovers. Wright continues to play heavy minutes and put up big-time numbers. He’s clearly no fluke and is making his owners look like geniuses.

Lines for Discussion:
Roy Hibbert: 12-19 FG (63%), 5-7 FT (71%), 29 Pts, 10 Reb, 2 Ast, 2 Blk, 1 TO

D.J. Augustin: 4-13 FG (31%), 5-6 FT (83%), 1 three, 14 Pts, 3 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Blk, 3 TO (continue reading…)
