Beast of the Night: Kevin Durant finished with 39 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers last night. He shot 57 percent (13-23) from the field, 83 percent (10-12) from the charity stripe and had two turnovers. Is it possible to have a quiet season while putting up No. 1 averages throughout an NBA season? Yep. Though he hasn’t drawn nearly as much attention as he did last season, KD has met the high expectations most owners had for him heading into this season.

Lines for Discussion:
Kyle Lowry: 6-13 FG (46%), 1-1 FT (100%), 3 threes, 16 Pts, 7 Reb, 10 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 TO

LeBron James: 10-21 FG (48%), 6-10 FT (60%), 1 three, 27 Pts, 10 Reb, 12 Ast, 3 TO (continue reading…)

Monta Ellis

Weekend Wonder: Monta Ellis was locked in this past weekend, averaging 32 points, 5.5 rebounds, 11.5 assists, two steals and 3.5 threes in two games. He shot 56 percent from the field, 85 percent from the free-throw line and averaged 1.5 turnovers in this stretch. Ellis was struggling before this, and it was only the second time in his career that he’s notched back-to-back double-doubles. His resiliency, given his heavy workload, is impressive.

Lines for Discussion:
Samuel Dalembert (3/25): 6-13 FG (46%), 4-6 FT (67%), 16 Pts, 10 Reb, 1 Ast, 3 Stl, 2 Blk, 1 TO

Hedo Turkoglu (3/25): 8-11 FG (73%), 1-2 FT (50%), 3 threes, 20 Pts, 1 Reb, 13 Ast (continue reading…)

Mo Williams

The 2010-11 NBA trading binge ain’t over.

With a few more hours to go before this season’s NBA trade deadline expires at 3 p.m. EST today, we have some more deals to discuss. Beast of the Night: Kevin Martin put up 30 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers in a loss to the Lakers.  He shot 53 percent (8-15) from the field, 91 percent (10-11) from the free-throw line and had three turnovers. Martin has been inconsistent lately but remains great for points, threes and free-throw percentage. Despite playing fewer minutes this season, he’s averaging more points, threes made and rebounds than he did last season.

Lines for Discussion:
Nick Young: 9-18 FG (50%), 9-12 FT (75%), 3 threes, 30 Pts, 4 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 TO

LaMarcus Aldridge: 16-23 FG (70%), 8-9 FT (89%), 40 Pts, 11 Reb, 2 Ast, 3 Stl, 1 Blk, 2 TO (continue reading…)

Kevin Love

Valentine's Day is coming up. Insert joke here. (NBA.com)

[Read the full post at DimeMag.com]

Beast of the Night: Kevin Love finished with 24 points, 17 rebounds, seven assists and a three last night against the Rockets.  He shot 50 percent (6-12) from the field, 100 percent (11-11) from the line and had two turnovers. Love remains a top-three fantasy beast this season and there’s no reason to expect him to slow down.

Lines for Discussion:
Ryan Anderson: 5-11 FG (46%), 7-8 FT (88%), 4 threes, 21 Pts, 5 Reb, 1 Ast, 3 Blk, 4 TO

Devin Harris: 6-13 FG (46%), 2 threes, 14 Pts, 10 Ast, 1 Stl (continue reading…)
